Adapted treatment from the 4th month Massage therapists trained in prenatal massage
From which month of pregnancy can I have a massage?
Prenatal massage is offered from the 4th month of pregnancy (start of the second trimester), once the pregnancy is well established.
We then support you right up to your due date, adapting each session to how you feel and what you need at the time.
Is prenatal massage safe during pregnancy?
For a pregnancy that is going smoothly, yes: our massage therapists are trained in prenatal massage, the position is adapted and the pressure stays gentle.
We avoid sensitive areas (ankles, sacrum and certain acupressure points).
Each session begins with a conversation about your pregnancy and how you feel that day.
What are the contraindications for pregnancy massage?
Massage is not recommended in the case of a high-risk pregnancy, pre-eclampsia, bleeding, early contractions or phlebitis.
If in doubt, we recommend seeking the advice of your doctor or midwife.
When you arrive, we go over your health.
Can my partner come with me?
Of course.
Your partner is welcome at the salon during your session.
It’s a lovely moment to share.
